Pokemon: Advanced Generation Series

Pokemon: Advanced, Pokemon: Advanced Challenge And Pokemon: Advanced Battle

This series begins as Ash learns that Gary has left for the Hoenn region, with only his starting pokemon Blastoise. Ash decides to do the same and sets off to the Hoenn region with only his Pikachu. Misty decides to stay and become the Gym Leader of her family gym in Ceruleon City. Ash quickly meets up with Brock again and they set off to Hoenn. In Hoenn Ash and Brock meet 2 new companions called May and her little brother Max. Again ash travels around catching new pokemon and obtaining the 8 badges required to enter the Hoenn Pokemon League. While May who originally only wanted to be a trainer to travel the world decides to become a pokemon coordinator and enter contests. After Ash gets all his badges and May gets her 5 ribbons they first set out to the Grand Festival. May manages to make it to the quarter finals where she has to do a contest battle against her rival Drew. She is defeated by Drew in a close match. Ash enters the Hoenn League and again is defeated in the top 8.

Pokemon: Battle Frontier

After the Hoenn League ash is told about the Kanto Battle Frontier, so Ash, May, Brock and Max travel to Kanto where Ash tried to earn the 6 battle symbols and May tried to get 5 Kanto Ribbons. After both Ash and May are successful in collecting the symbols and ribbons Ash defeats the battle champion, and May manages to make it to the top 4 in the Kanto Grand Festival. After the Grand Festival the team splits up as Ash decides to go to Sinnoh, May goes to Johto, Max returns to Hoenn and Brock returns to Pewter City
